Wonderful photo, but, alas, a fake composite.
Today is World Peace Day. Clearly, we need peace and understanding more than ever before. We live in a world capsized by dueling polarities and extreme, unbending positions. Let’s take a moment today to consider how our peaceful actions and ways can reverberate out, like a stone tossed into a pond, and gently shift the axis into more compassionate ways of being.
Here is a bouquet of peaceful words and thoughts for your consideration. Peace be with you. Peace be with all of us.
Mahatma Gandhi’s Peace Prayer
“I offer you peace.
I offer you love.
I offer you friendship.”
I see your beauty.
I hear your need.
I feel your feelings.
My wisdom flows from the highest Source.
I salute that Source in you.
Let us work together for unity and peace. “
Traditional Gaelic Blessing: Deep Peace, Deep Peace
Deep peace, deep peace of the running wave to you;
Deep peace of the flowing air to you;
Deep peace of the quiet earth to you;
Deep peace of the shining stars to you;
Deep peace of the gentle night to you;
Moon and stars pour their healing light on you.
Deep peace to you.
Deep peace to you.
And a favorite: Everyday Peace

Thank so much, dear Priscilla. Yes, may there be peace of mind for all of us. And for me, that means, I have to pull back from late-night FB reading :(((.
You are such a beautiful writer. And, as we both understand, yes, yes, yes, to the Gaelic blessing! Love you more :)))
Amen, sister! Yes, may we all be well.Much love.
Thank you, Adele. We need this at a time when our federal government spews divisiveness, intolerance, mysogeny while having no moral compass. May peace of mind be in our near future.
Dear Adele,
May there be more peace, born or kindness, light, and compassion.
I love that Gaelic blessing. Always had.
Love you, too.
