Love is not one sizes fits all, much less, one size fits most. Love is a very personal and idiosyncratic force. Love can expand, shrink, shift and alter. Love can take us captive and make us blind. Love can make room for miracles. Love can heal, and, even, hurt.
Love is a mighty and potent connecting energy. Love resonates. Love hums. Love has a charge. Love has a vibration. It carries an electromagnetic template.
Love is a particular kind of energy wherein the heart sings in assorted, riffing melodies with varying chords, tempos, and back beats. Sometimes it’s hip-hop, loud and pounding, or a big-band romp, a musical comedy, a high drama opera or a steamy torch song. It can be a classical symphony, a 50’s boyfriend song, a high hymn that elevates you to your best, an Adele “Hello” heartbreak call or, maybe, an a cappella tapestry that brings you to your knees.
It is this very personal hum and vibration of our love that creates the connection and resonance. We are pulled into one another’s gravitational fields. We sing their song; they dance to our music, energetically speaking. And if it is an amorous relationship, our etheric threads entwine with one another as well. Like the bee to the flower, so we are drawn and pulled into a web of connection.
Love wears many faces, It can be the young, old, two-legged, four-legged, Mother Nature, Father Sky and everything in between. Love can look like affection, attention, attraction, passion, care, tenderness, union, compassion or yearning. It can be love with a “l” or a “L.” It can be deep and intertwined with our very breath. It can be past, present and future. The vibrational hum of our love can be tentative, fragile, nascent, rock-solid, equivocating, tearful, stubborn, dog-tired, bittersweet, eternal, unconditional, irrational and so much more.
Love is everywhere in our lives. Showing up in different ways that touch our hearts, love serves as a constant hum in our wonderfully human lives.
There are energies singing and dancing in your life that fill, nourish and comfort you. Listen closely, can you feel the hum? It’s always there.
Happy St. Valentine’s Day, Lovies. You are loved in many, many ways.
