The sensitive, the considerate and the plucky

kindnessmatters“I believe in aristocracy. . . Not an aristocracy of power, based upon rank and influence, but an aristocracy of the sensitive, the considerate and the plucky.

Its members are to be found in all nations and classes, and all through the ages, and there is a secret understanding between them when they meet.

They represent the true human tradition, the one permanent victory … over cruelty and chaos.”

    Dear Adele,
I love this truth and thank you for sharing the quote of it.
Indeed if there is a hierarchy of any sort among humanity, it is between those who live with soul and such in the higher echelons of spirit power; and those who are homeless of their soul and in their poverty of spirit are still lowly.
The aristocracy of heart and of compassion is what truly inhabits power and what permeates leadership. Not place of birth. Not fortune. Not circumstance. Not heritage or race or who one calls their God. Humanity.
